Mission: Mission 1 - Project Concord
Location: Deck 1 | Conference room | USS Concord

Captain Driskill had requested the presence of some of his staff. As the Captain he sat at the head of the table and sipped on some extra strong coffee. He let out a slight yawn and quickly straightened up in his chair as the doors slid open “help yourself to the replicator.” Tyler knew everyone was just as tired as and had all gone without out much to eat or drink after their arrival in the Delta Quadrant.

Nixie made straight for the replicator to get some coffee, real or not. She didn't care if it was a placebo, if it worked, it worked. She took to her chair, taking a deep mouthful, her sleeves rolled up to her elbows. She had gotten to the part of tired where things didn't feel quite real anymore, but she was fine with that, given the circumstances.

Once the door to the conference room opened, Joseph stumbled in. He looked haggard, from his five o'clock shadow, to the blood stains on his dark uniform. He made his way to the replicator "Raktajino, extra strong, and a sausage egg and cheese croissant..." he spoke tiredly. Within a moment the drink and food appeared. He grabbed it and stumbled his way to the table, setting it down and plopping himself in to a chair next to the captain. He sighed softly at being able to sit. He flexed his biomechanical hand, the servos acting up a bit from his extreme exhaustion and lack of proper eating.

Walker came in. Her red hair was pulled back in a ponytail. She was wearing the traditional blue for Starfleet Counselor. Her Hammer necklace was out. Her knife was fastened to her belt. Today, she didn't have a phaser on her. It was a big step for her.

Tyler Rehman had been surprised he had been summoned to a staff meeting, it wasn't a typical practice to invite a junior officer to a senior staff briefing, even if said individual headed up the Stellar Cartography section. However, he was important in mapping where they were at, but still it made no sense... and it made him nervous. With a PaDD in hand, he entered the briefing room and gave quick nods to those already assembled and took a seat, hoping he wasn't sitting in someone's 'regular' spot.

Lieutenant Gulati had entered to find the conference room as relatively comfortable, and Captain Tyler Driskill inviting albeit visibly exhausted. She too was feeling the draining effects of lack of proper sleep and nutrition. She was not about to rain on anyone's parade but shot a certain look at her longtime academic friendly rival, Tyler Rehman. She knew that he would understand.

Rehman looked over at his friend and received a certain look, which he understood and gave a nod in response. He felt bad for Gulati, and though Benzite's always looked sort of pale, he could see the changes in Gulati's features. She needed sleep, and he knew why. Even though she couldn't be the one to blame. But this was her project, her engine, and he knew she would hold herself personally responsible for what happened. He set his PaDD down, and while still holding Gulati's gaze, he offered a small, but reassuring smile in hopes that would help.

Once everyone had arrived and were seated the Captain decided to start the meeting. “I want to thank you all for your hard work and the extra effort everyone is putting in to get the ship back to operational status” he looked around at the fine officers assembled. “Speaking of how are the repairs coming” the Captain was ready to continue their mission and back to looking for the lost Federation starship and crew.

Joseph managed to suppress a yawn, instead taking a sip of his Raktajino. He looked to the Captain and held up his PADD "We've managed to get power back to around seventy percent... Shields are around twenty four percent and slowly climbing. We only have phasers at this point weapons wise. And they are only at thirty two percent output. We couldn't shave Everest if it needed a shave right now... Life support is at one hundred percent, so that's good.." His eyes shifted a bit from the Captain to the others.

It wasn’t the news Captain Driskill was hoping for buy it was better than it could have been. “I thought we had gotten a little further along” he sat back in his chair and took a deep breath. “What about our engines” Tyler looked at his first officer.

Joseph stifled yet another yawn and spoke "Impulse is nearly back online, the warp core took a bit of a beating, but we are reinforcing the casing now. Our incident definitely didn't help. I expect warp drive to be back within five hours. twenty for full capability."

“Thank you Lieutenant” Driskill gave a nod “please keep me updated on your progress, Commander.” The First Officer had been over seeing things in engineering and repairs while the Chief Engineer had been in sick bay. Taking a sip from his beverage, hoping for a little burst of energy. “How are things in sickbay and with the Lieutenant, Doctor?

"Patient is stable," Roan said as he looked at Driskill, giving a small nod. "All injuries have been treated, sickbay...took a little but of a beating, but most of it is superficial, or things we can do without if we must." He ran a hand over his own neck for a moment. "We treated the injured, although I suspect everyone is still feeling bruised and sore."

“I have no doubt Doctor. Including everyone in this room I suspect.” Captain Driskill thought for a moment “keep me advised on Lieutenant Chaika’s progress doctor.” Taking another sip from his beverage and looked over at Nixie “any additional information on your investigation, Lieutenant?”

Nixie frowned as she shook her head, clearly frustrated by it as she sat back. She was also unsure how much the rest of the team knew, so kept it brief. "I have the computer running analysis on all samples we could retrieve from the scene. We also have complete scans from the room and relevant data logs ready to piece together the timeline."

“Very well, Lieutenant keep me informed” the Captain requested of his Chief of Security. “Last order of business. The nebula still showing no signs of damage from staying inside and are we able to easily hold our position within the nebula.”

Joseph nodded "Emergency forcefields are holding in areas where the hull has been breached. The breaches are being sealed as soon we can get to them."

“Any other concerns” the Captain looked around the room, an eyebrow raised as he waited a few moments and then gave a nod “dismissed.”
